Uniswap Labs Address Screening Update
April 19, 2022

Uniswap Labs develops products we hope have a positive impact on people’s lives.

For years, the App has blocked addresses on the OFAC sanctions list. Now, with the help of TRM Labs and as part of our ongoing risk management, we are blocking wallet addresses associated with illicit activity, such as stolen funds or ransomware, from interacting with the Uniswap Labs App. Though these addresses make up a miniscule percentage of users, we intend to limit harmful activity.

Given the Uniswap Protocol’s decentralized and open-source nature, we do not control users’ access to it via any portal other than our own app. For more information, check out our Help Center.
